"Sing for Supper" Food Drive Concerts

Host Your Own Food Charity Concert
We want to help you raise donations for local charities, especially food banks, shelters, soup kitchens and other charitible community-service organizations. And we also want people to have fun, safe and inexpensive entertainment, especially when the cost of going out is a problem. Together we can do both.

Pick dates and times when you would like to host a “house concert” for your friends. Check with your landlord or neighbors to be sure it is okay first. In fact, get ready to invite them! Then contact us so we can find a way to fit your schedule or offer alternatives. When you invite as many friends as you dare over to your place, ask them to bring 3-4 cans of basic, good food as a donation. We’d love to have them bring more, of course. If you do this we'll play for FREE.

You collect the food, put it in boxes, drop it off at your local food bank or community meal program or we'll deliver it to Our Neighbors Table in Amesbury.

You’ll get a great house party, your friends will think you are ultra-cool, and people in your community get a boost where it’s needed.

If your place is small, we’ll skip the mics and amps and play all acoustic. If your place is larger we’ll bring our small PA. We’ll be glad to customize within reason. Maybe even host a sing-and-play-along where people can play their own instruments, just like in the old days...
